Everyone can see the beer truck on the Pacific Wharf and you can't miss the long line for it either. A lot of people go there to have a beer when dining in the Pacific Wharf eatery area. If you are in the mood for a cold, refreshing, draft beer it's the only place to go in the area right?
About 100 ft away from this same beer truck is the Mexican food restaurant, Cocina Cucamonga. The line is rarely very long and even if it does have some people in it, it's shorter than the beer truck line. So why would anyone want Mexican food on a hot day in June when a cold beer is what they crave?
My husband knows a little secret on hot days when the beer truck line is really long that a lot of people don't know. If you head over to Cocina Cucamonga and take a look at their menu, you're going to see something very appealing to you if you're in the mood for a refreshing, cold beer.
Over at Cocina Cucamonga they serve beer too! The line over there isn't very long and moves quickly. My husband is usually in and out in no time and on his way again. Not many people know they have beer because they are not in the mood for Mexican food so they bypass the menu completely. Waiting in that long line at the beer truck would be exhausting, I wouldn't even want a beer for that kind of wait.
So while everyone else is standing in a line that has no shade, my husband heads over to the Cocina Cucamonga and gets himself a Dos Equis Ambar and enjoys it by the water.
