Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta is located on the Paradise Pier end of California Adventure on the "Boardwalk" of course. They serve pizza, pasta, salads, drinks and kids snacks like apples, carrots, and PB&J Uncrustables. If you have ever been to the Pizza Port over on the Disneyland side, the service style is similar to that.
There is a large patio area outside where there are plenty of seats for a lot of people. There are some areas that are inside gazebos with fans. If you go during the busy times, there's usually a band playing.
For Pasta, you have your choice of Spaghetti with Meatballs, Five Cheese Ravioli or Chicken Sun-Dried Tomato Pesto. All the pasta is the same price, $9.49, no matter what dish you get. If you don't want the one sitting there, they will make you something fresh if you ask them too.
My nephew Zachary picked the Chicken Sun-Dried Tomato Pesto (after he chose the cheese pizza).
My husband ordered the Five-Cheese Ravioli, it has toasted pine nuts on top, a nice touch in deed.
There is also Flatbread Pizzas to choose from if you like. They looked good but the pasta and salad was already about ten bucks each so we didn't get to try the pizza this time.
The different kinds of pizza they serve varied..
BBQ Chicken $8.99
Portobello Mushroom and Spinach $8.99
I bought a chicken Cesar salad, probably should have gone with the flat bread pizza or pasta instead. If you look at my detailed photo (as usual) below, you will see that my lettuce is pretty wilted, the chicken is rubbery and it's just not the kind of salad that I was in the mood for on a hot day in July. I probably could have exchanged it but I just went ahead and kept it. Sometimes I do exchange food if it's terrible but we we're in a hurry to get to the next ride before our FastPass expired so I didn't bother this time.
Choices in salad are Chicken Cesar $8.99, Italian Chef Salad $8.99 and Boardwalk Field of Greens $7.49
