You can't miss the big Award Winning Wieners in Hollywood Land. We stopped here thinking we were going to get some amazing hot dogs, I mean the name does sort of suggest that right?
The boys decided to go ride on the Matterhorn and Samantha and I took the opportunity to eat without them. We have been meaning to try this place but my husband always frowns at the thought of eating hot dogs while we are out since we can make them at home substantially less and really, let's face it, it's a hot dog! It's never going to be a bacon cheeseburger or anything close. I ordered the #1 Chili Cheese Dog and Samantha got the #3 Hot Dog Combo.
This is the #1 Chili Cheese Dog combo, it comes with chips for that $6.99 price tag. The hot dog was just a hot dog, it's not beef, it's a hot dog. The chips are just chips, nothing great. I did dip my chips in my chili but that was still pretty tasteless. Overall, this place is bogus, I would never eat here again, not ever.
Seriously, look at that combo. Pay an extra three bucks and go get yourself something substantial. Sammy could have pounded like three of these things in one sitting. Look at it, I couldn't even make it beautiful with my $700 camera. It's as tasteless as it looks. I deserve a free meal Walt! You burned me!
Just a hot dog, I don't know why I expected more. Probably because of the name.. Award Wieners!
All the decor is for the Muppet theater next door. It's definitely better than the food.
These are the same metal chairs used at the Taste Pilot Grill. They scrape the floor when you move them...eeek.
