Tyler has this concerned look on Heimlich's Chew Chew ride and I'm not sure why? He's been on it plenty of times before this. Just one of those cute baby faces I guess.
Heimlich's Chew Chew train is located in a Bug's Land. It's a little caterpillar named Heimlich that travels around eating stuff. It's loaded with familiar sights and smells that kids love. Babies can ride on Heimlich's Chew Chew train. You can fit 2-3 peoeple in one seat on this ride. Babies can sit on laps and smaller kids can ride alone.
My son took a long time trying to take pick out the perfect pin for both him and his sister. He ended up settling on a California Screamin' roller-coaster pin for Sammy because that is one of her favor rides at California Adventure. For himself, he chose the Space Mountain pin, which had Mickey and Minnie Mouse in a rocket ship. I thought it was a really funny that he picked the Space Mountain pin because he doesn't really like that ride, he has never wanted to go on it. Both pins had moving parts and that is one of the things that Jeremy really likes about them.
Princess Jasmine Disney Halloween Costume
Jasmine is the daughter of the Sultan of Agrabah and she wears a bedlah outfit with organza shoulders for the bandeau top she wears, her billowed pants flare out over her thigh and tighten by the ankles to show off her cute curly tipped shoes. Her outfit is an aquamarine/turquoise that has bling embellishments to distinguish her royalty from commoners. Here is the Disney Jasmine costume from the Aladdin. You can purchase the Jasmine outfit with the crown, shoes and jewelry to be fully decked out like this desert princess.
Little Mermaid Disney Halloween Costume
Ariel is the daughter of King Tritan, who is rules the ocean waters. She is most commonly known for wearing her purple sea shells and fin. Ariel does have a wedding dress in the movie, it's white with aqua embellishments to match her fin, but that costume is not has popular as the original purple and aquamarine one. Most parents don't want their little girls wearing sea shell bras at their young age, the Disney Store has adapted the costume to have a purple top that is similar in color to the seashells that Ariel wears, the bottom is an aquamarine skirted bottom that flares at the bottom like a fin.
Cinderella Disney Halloween Costumes
Cinderella is the the blonde bombshell that goes from rags to rad with the help of her fairy Godmother. You can find her dress, crown, wand and shoes available at the Bibbity Bobbity and Enchanted Chamber over at Disneyland all year long, but because it's Halloween, you can find Cinderella costumes for girls all over both theme parks right now. Cinderella wears a beautiful blue gown and a pair of glass slippers to the ball. Throughout most of the movie she wears rags but when she goes to the ball, she wears a pretty blue ball gown like the one featured here, the shoes and wand light up. Cinderella wore a blue head piece, similar in shape to the crown sold in the Disney stores.
Rapunzel (Tangled) Disney Halloween Costume
The Rapunzel dress was on display with the a crown and a matching purple head piece, so you can mix and match those pieces. Most of the Disney Princess collections have a wig that goes with the costume, but I think the Rapunzel costume from Tangled actually would be the only costume I would buy the long braid to go with it. That particular Princess costume needs the long braid. Rapunzel wears a long lavender and pink dress with lace up corset style mid-area. It's a beautiful German style peasant dress, there is a matching crown, light up wand, shoes and long braid to go with her dress.
Merida (Brave) Halloween Costume for Girls
Merida is the brave warrior princess, her dress is a deep turquoise with gold trim, lace and embellishments. The Merida Halloween costume is pretty, the colors gold and turquoise look pretty together and she has the cutest gold gladiator sandals to match this dress. This Merida costume has a crown, gold gladiator sandals, a light up wand and of course, her bow and arrow.
They have the cutest aviator wings pin in this store, it's a aviator flight pin that the captain wears on Soarin' Over California. It's a pin that pins onto your shirt or pin lanyard if you collect Disney pins. Both my son and daughter collect pins and I had bought my daughter one in the past but Jeremy didn't want one then. Finally, he wanted one because his sister loved hers so much that I bought him one. We also bought "Thumper" from Bambi pin because he thought he was cute. He's never seen Bambi, but that's okay.
I totally dig the Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse aprons, I could see myself cooking in those inside my Mickey Mouse kitchen. I could see these being good wedding gifts for a couple, 'His and Hers, Mickey and Minnie Kitchen Aprons' would make a great gift for a couple who loves Disney. I always see newly wed couples buying those Mickey and Minnie Mouse type gifts at Disneyland.
This store had everything you could think of for Mickey Mouse Theme Kitchen. There were kitchen utensils, coffee mugs, wine bottle toppers, dish towels, cookie cutters and more. I fell in love instantly with the Mickey Mouse oven mitts! You could tell they were high quality oven mitts that would last because they were so thick and comfortable. They had mitts that were shaped like Mickey Mouse hands and pot holders shaped like Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse pants. If you have a Mickey Mouse Kitchen, these are MUST HAVE items! Totally cute and highly useful!
If you know someone who loves Disney and baking, they had the cutest measuring spoons, kitchen timer, cookie cutters and muffin tin that would make a great gift. The measuring spoons were less than ten bucks, which is pretty cheap for Disney merchandise of this quality. Christmas time I am going to have a very Disney wish list!
Atwater Ink & Paint had more coffee mugs than any store I have been in. They had a Disney coffee mug for just about every character that you could think of. They had some really cute mugs for your Mickey Mouse kitchen, different Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse types of mugs as well as all their friends.
Atwater Ink & Paint is supposed to be an art school set in the 1920's, so everything is very bright and colorful. The decor is a colorful feast for the eyes. The rainbows of colors are beautiful, somewhat of a color palette of coffee cups organized perfectly. You can tell the store workers are trained to keep everything in line and in stock to keep the beautiful eye appeal of the store.
All the mugs were in line, all the handles, lids, straws to these cups lined up on the store shelves perfectly. The workers walked around and made sure everything was in place and the clean lines were impeccable.
The lighting in the store showcased the place nicely. The dull earth tones in the cabinetry and lighting fixtures offset the bright color palette of products beautifully. The depth of the ceiling and the sky lights gave the store some natural lighting that added to the decor and showcased the merchandise.
If you are looking for the Atwater Ink & Paint Store is located inside California Adventure on Buena Vista Street. You can access it from the street or from inside the Elysian Arcade. It is THE PLACE to go if you are thinking of decorating in a Mickey Mouse kitchen theme. They got all the colors of the rainbow, so you are sure to find what you are looking for. A lot of the stuff from inside the park can be found online at the Disney Store too.

When I walked inside the nice cool, air-conditioned arcade the first thing we saw was the CUTEST Halloween merchandise for sale. So what did I do? I took pictures! You need to be at least 40" to tall to ride the Jumpin Jellyfish.
Younger children have an extra loop they have to put their seat belt through in between their legs. I snapped the boys in safely and then went over to my seat. The seats are definitely not made for adults, you will know what I mean once you sit in them. The big plastic piece in the center that separates your legs is like having a wedgie throughout the course of the ride. The hard plastic the chair sticks to the back of your thighs if you have shorts on. No need for a seat belt the way your thighs stick to this seat.
We didn't get the best seat, if you can, try and face the water (Paradise Bay), it's a nicer view going up. I let the boys choose so we ended up with a seat that faced Goofy's Sky School and the Paradise Pier Hotel.
Jackie, Caleb, Joseph, Sammy and my husband all waited at the exit for us, guess they we're in the mood to ride jellyfish? or perhaps they have been on those uncomfortable seats and decided they didn't need a twenty second wedgie in the sky?
